Anti-U.S.protests continue
By Shujaat Bukhari
SRINAGAR, OCT. 15. Amidst a bandh called by the Jaish-e-Mohammad
and Harkat-ul- Mujahideen today, strong demonstrations continued
for the eight consecutive day in Kashmir against the U.S. strikes
in Afghanistan.
All shops and business establishments remained closed here.
Vehicles were off the road and heavy stone throwing was reported
from a number of areas. The streets wore a deserted look. A few
shops were open in the morning, but they too were closed later.
