Disappointing

Sir, - Your Editorial regarding India's punitive strikes against Pakistan (Oct. 17) was disappointing. Instead of welcoming the strikes, it almost rejects it. Such a strike will give a psychological boost to our forces fighting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. When the U.S. can strike a nation for abetting terrorism, why not India?

Thulasiraman,

Tirupur, T.N.
