Crocodile tears

Sir, - Muslim groups who shed tears for the Afghan refugees and death of innocents in the U.S. air raids have no word of sympathy for the hundreds of Afghans killed by the Taliban in its zeal to implement the Islamic code.

People who cry hoarse at the bad treatment meted out to the Hindu minority in Bangladesh have no tears to shed for the harassed minorities and the Dalits in India.

T. S. Rao,

Visakhapatnam
