In a clever garb
Sir, - The Prevention of Terrorism Ordinance (POTO) is a clever
garb of the pernicious TADA. Before introducing such a bill let
there be a national debate as it is bound to be misused by the
party in power. Why not deal with the sympathisers of the LTTE
who wield considerable political clout at the Centre and States
along with strong arm tactics against the SIMI. Also, the VHP and
the Bajrang Dal must be banned if we are to save the nation.
J. Shantikumar,
