Turn in T.N. politics
Sir, - Mr. E.V.K.S. Elangovan, president of the Tamil Nadu
Congress Committee, deserves praise for making Ms. Sonia Gandhi
agree to his proposal to free the Congress from the clutches of
the Dravidian parties which have been ruling Tamil Nadu for more
than three decades. It is the desire of all neutral voters that
the Congress regain its lost glory and this will come about soon
as the people are tired of the Dravidian parties.
But it is also imperative that the growth of the communal BJP
should be checked.
R. Ramasubramanian,
Chennai
