By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD, OCT. 31. Maruti Udyog is confident of holding on to a
6 per cent growth rate and 62 per cent market share in the Indian
passenger car segment for the entire year, despite the extremely
sluggish market with September and October not offering any great
encouragement.
Speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday after the launch of
its latest offering, the multipurpose vehicle (MPV) Versa, Mr. C.
K. Dave, General Manager, said MUL had achieved a 6 per cent
growth rate for the first six months this year, despite a 6 per
cent fall in the Indian car market.
