Afridi, Younis prop up Pakistan

SHARJAH, OCT. 31 Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan hit fluent half- centuries as Pakistan scored 261 for nine from 50 overs against Zimbabwe in the Champions Trophy here on Wednesday.

Afridi smashed six sixes and two fours in a belligerent 58 off 36 balls at the top of the order, while Younis shored up the middle with 59. The match holds only academic interest as Zimbabwe has already bowed out.

SHARJAH, OCT. 31. Zimbabwe was 89 for two in 21 overs chasing Pakistan's 261 in the Champions's Trophy tournament. Andy Flower on 21 and Grant Flower on 53 were at the crease.
