Krishan Kant faints in temple
By Our Staff Reporter
KURNOOL, NOV. 1. The Vice-President, Mr. Krishan Kant, fainted in
the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam on Thursday after
``Rudrahomam''. His personal physician attended on him before a
panel of waiting doctors provided medical help.
The doctors said Mr. Kant's blood sugar level dipped as he took
part in the rituals without taking the morning meal and spent
over two-and-half hours near the fire and smoke where the `homam'
was performed. Mr. Kant regained consciousness after a few
minutes and later walked to the Addala Mantapam where he was
blessed by the priests.
