Consumer index

SHIMLA, Nov 1. The consumer price index for industrial workers (base 1982=100) registered a decrease of one point during September to stand at 465. The index had increased by one point during the same month last year.

The fall in index was mainly attributed to fall in prices of rice, moong, ground nut and mustard oil and vegetables and fruits, according to a Labour Bureau release.
