Ucal Fuel Systems sales up

Ucal Fuel Systems increased its net sales by 21 per cent to Rs. 46.96 crores in the second quarter ended September 30, 2001 from Rs. 38.79 crores in the corresponding period in the previous year. The gross profit before depreciation and interest charges registered a rise of 33 per cent to Rs. 10.07 crores from Rs. 7.57 crores. Interest charges claimed Rs. 1.84 crores (Rs.1.50 crores), depreciation Rs. 4.09 crores (Rs.2.84 crores) and taxation Rs. 63.25 lakhs (Rs.40 lakhs).

The net profit after taxation has risen by 24 per cent to Rs. 3.51 crores from Rs. 2.83 crores.
