Phoenix Global's offer to insurance firms

NEW DELHI, NOV. 4. Phoenix Global Solutions has unveiled its
latest offering to insurance companies in the form of a complete
solution for recruitment, training and certification of insurance
agents.
The company has developed an on-line option that can manage the
entire process of recruitment, training and certification of
agents.
With the insurance sector being thrown open to private players,
there is expectation of a surge in the number of agents and
policyholders.
The high turnout of interview calls, selection criteria,
recruitment, training and certification process will assume a new
dimension and pose challenges to the insurance companies.
Consequently, the product from Phoenix a web-based recruitment
management system, will have a web-based e-learning system and a
real time academy which will have a panel of faculty members
drawn from the insurance industry.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Global Solutions and IBM India have announced
a strategic partnership to pioneer the convergence of insurance
and technology for the Indian insurance market.
The company had also bagged the first customer for its Phoenix-
IBM product in the form of MetLife India Insurance, an Indian
affiliate of the number one insurer in the U.S.
