Rishi Behl in quarterfinals
NEW DELHI, NOV. 9. Rishi Behl defeated compatriot Nihal Advani 6-
1, 1- 6, 6-4 to move into the quarterfinals of the Grade-3 ITF
juniors tennis tournament in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.
Rishi will meet the third-seeded Dias Doskaraev of Kazakhstan in
the quarterfinals. Nihal Advani had done well earlier to beat the
fifth-seeded Anuwat Dalodom of Thailand 6-2, 6-3 in the third
round.
The top-seeded Amanjot Singh could not make it to the tournament,
while the fourth-seeded Rohan Gajjar gave a walkover because of
an injury suffered during the final last week in Miri Sarawak,
Malaysia.
There was disappointment in the girls' section, as the top-seeded
Megha Vakharia fell in the second round in straight sets to the
unfancied Nindya Septi Yutami of Indonesia.
