ING Vysya's new insurance service option

CHENNAI, NOV. 13. ING Vysya Life Insurance has announced the development of a group billing product option tailored for small and medium businesses. According to Mr. Ton Van Der Star, CEO & Managing Director, ING Vysya Life, ``We believe in building strong and durable relationships with our customers. Our strategic intent is to offer a strong value proposition to the customer. This value for money proposition is extended to the product portfolio and service offerings as well".

The company counts as its mission the successful covering of the life risk of 200 million insurable Indians, thus providing risk protection and financial security to their families, liberating them to 'Celebrate Life' and thereby "Adding life to insurance".

The company also announced a special gift for celebration of the joyous occasion Diwali. ING Vysya will contribute towards increasing the life cover of each policyholder by 50 per cent for the first year of the policy at no extra charge.

ING Vysya Life is a joint venture between ING International BV, Vysya Bank and GMR Technologies and Industries. ING holds a 26 per cent share in the company, Vysya Bank 49 per cent and GMR Technologies the balance 25 per cent. ING Vysya has an initial paid up capital of Rs. 110 crores and an authorised capital of Rs. 200 crores.
