Hitachi Data Systems' new software
NEW DELHI: Japanese electronics giant Hitachi Data Systems has
introduced `Hicommond', a new software data storage system. The
software framework provides a single, integrated, web-based user
interface for controlling all Hitachi freedom storage systems, a
company release said. ``With the introduction of Hicommand, the
world's best storage systems just got easier to use and more
economical to manage,'' Mr. P. P. Subramanian, country manager,
Hitach Data Systems India, said.
