Each centre would require an investment ranging from Rs.7 lakhs to Rs.ten lakhs. The amount could be recovered in nine months if the schools were run in batches of two hours each.

He said the firm entered into a strategic agreement with Egmont for establishing and running Eurokids and Eurosmart operations in the State. While Eurokids centre would be for students of kindergarten (one to three years), the Eurosmart centre would be for those in the age group of four to six years. A toddlers' club and crech attached to each centre were also planned. The crech would come up after one year.

According to Mr. Krishna Mohan, the centres would be classified as super model "A" and models "A", "B" and "C". The monthly fee would be Rs.2,000, Rs.1,000, Rs.750 and Rs.550 respectively.

He stated that each class would have 15 students and each centre should have four rooms. The centre would take care of the transport and water needs of students, while their food had to be brought from home.

He explained that the Eurokid concept did not believe in classroom teaching. So they would have funrooms, where an exciting learning environment would be created by implementing creative and innovating teaching concepts, utilising quality aids.
