Lashkar threat to Thackeray, Goel
NEW DELHI, NOV. 24. The north India chief of Shiv Sena, Mr. Jai
Bhagwan Goel, today claimed that the Lashkar-e-Taiba had
threatened to kill him if he continues to criticise the ongoing
jehad (holy war) by Kashmiri militants. The outfit had also asked
the party chief, Mr. Bal Thackeray, to ``mend his ways'', he
said.
Mr. Goel said he had received a letter from the outfit describing
him as ``khuda ka dushman'' (God's enemy) and warned him that his
factory in Delhi, two offices and the residence were under its
surveillance.
Mr. Goel said the Lashkar threatened to eliminate him along with
his family, if he did not change his ``anti-Islamic'' stance.
