Maoists burn bus, 7 killed
KATHMANDU, NOV. 25. Maoists today burnt a bus belonging to the
Delhi Public School at a village near Dharan, nearly 500 km from
here, protesting singing of Indian national anthem there.
The rebels also killed seven persons, including five policemen,
even as the Government said about 80 rebels probably perished in
encounters with security personnel.
A group of 46 security men were heading to Birendranagar in
Surket district, 450 km from here, in a truck when they were
attacked, official sources said today.
Five policemen and the driver were killed on the spot.
