BSF camp attacked in Manipur

IMPHAL, NOV. 25. Manipur People's Army insurgents attacked a Border Security Force camp in Bishenpur District of Manipur last night, official reports said today.

The militants used rocket launchers while firing on the camp around 10.30 p.m. in Phubala area, 45 kms from here, they said. The BSF personnel retaliated and the exchange of fire lasted for sometime following which the insurgents escaped, the sources said.

No casualty on either side has been reported so far, they said. The United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has claimed the attack was carried out by its military wing, Manipur People's Army.
