Naxals blast TD MLA's house

HYDERABAD, NOV. 27. The house of Telugu Desam legislator of
Dommata constituency in Medak district, Mr. Ch. Mutyam Reddy, was
blown up by members of the People's War Group Giraipalli dalam in
Tukkapur village of Kondapaka mandal in the intervening night of
November 26 and 27.
Police said that the ten-member PWG dalam, clad in olive green
uniform and led by their district committee secretary, Sudarshan
and district committee member, Ravi, went to the house- cum-
agriculture godown of the legislator with firearms and
explosives. They dragged out the inmates of the house and blasted
it with gelatine sticks. A tractor was also set ablaze by them.
Two buckets of gelatine sticks were seized by the police from the
site of the blast. The Medak district police deployed special
parties to nab the culprits.
