PWD workers' plea to CM

PONDICHERRY, NOV. 27. A delegation from the Pondicherry State PWD workers association presented a petition to the Chief Minister Mr. N. Rangasamy on Monday, seeking the regularisation of 900 workers in the department.

The president of the association, Mr.G.Madhivanan, also thanked the Chief Minister for convening a meeting with officials, in response to an earlier demand for filling of vacant posts in the PWD department.
