Minister's house blown up
By Our Staff Reporter

BHUBANESWAR, DEC. 2. In yet another naxalite attack in Malkangiri district, members of the People's War Group blew up a police outpost and a house belonging to the Textiles and Cooperation Minister, Mr. Arabinda Dhali, in Poteru area of the district late on Saturday night. However, there was no casualty. The police have termed the attacks ``symbolic'' as the ultras had asked the policemen manning the outpost to go away before they planted explosives and blew it up.

Similarly, the naxals asked the two caretakers living in Mr. Dhali's house, about seven km. from the police outpost, to leave the premises before they blasted it off.
