JAMMU, DEC. 2.

Unidentified militants today gunned down seven persons, all Hindus, who were on their way to a wedding in a remote village in Udhampur.

Sources said that a group of heavily-armed militants opened fire indiscriminately on the seven persons in Tringli in the Udhampur district. However, police did not confirm the incident. A police party has been rushed to the area, 120 km from Jammu.

This is second incident in the district in the last 48 hours. Seven people were gunned down in Kharout village on Friday night.
