JAMMU, DEC. 4. Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged heavy artillery fire at the Ramgarh, Kanachack, Arina, R.S.Pura and Samba sectors in the Jammu region overnight. Official sources said the two sides exchanged fire at Kandral, Narianpur and Chamblyal in the Ramgarh sector and at Kanachak, Rajpura and Chinore.

Firing was also reported from Pindi, Kote Kuba, Pittal Post, S. H. Way, Jabowal and Budhwar. The two sides also exchanged fire at Sangral, Mangral, Abdullian, Kathmarian, Korotana, Gharana, Kharkhola and A.M.K in the R.S.Pura sector and at Suchetgarh, Kullian, Glar and Fakira Chak in the Samba sector.
