Mirwaiz allowed to leave

NEW DELHI, DEC. 5. The Centre has allowed the senior Hurriyat leader, Mr. Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, to visit Saudi Arabia to perform umrah (mini-Haj).

The Mirwaiz would also visit Denmark to attend a peace conference, sources said here.

Barring Mr. Mirwaiz, the passports of all other Hurriyat leaders have been impounded by the Government. - UNI
