Kalam car hit by van

CHENNAI, DEC. 5. The vehicle of former scientific advisor to the Prime Minister, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, was hit by a van at the Sardar Patel- Velacherry Road intersection this morning.

The police said the accident occurred when the convoy of Dr. Kalam overtook the van at the signal. No one was injured.
