Time to file affidavits extended

CHENNAI, DEC. 5. The Justice N. Arumugham Commission of inquiry, constituted to investigate the alleged irregularities and violation of rules in the construction of Perambur flyover, has extended the time for filing affidavits till 5-30 p.m. on December 12, a Government release said.

The Commission was constituted to investigate violation of rules in the construction as alleged by the TMC and the AIADMK in the Chennai Corporation Council that resulted in sinking of a portion of the structure, inordinate delay in completion of work and escalation of the cost of construction.
