ICMR awards announced

NEW DELHI, DEC. 6. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) today announced the winners of its various awards for excellence in biomedical research.
The winners include Dr. V. Mohan of the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Dr. G.K. Pal and Dr. S.C. Parija of JIPMER, Pondicherry, Dr. S.K. Chaturvedi, Dr. P. Satish Chandra and Dr. Prabha S. Chandra of NIMHANS, Bangalore, and Dr. Ankathil Ravindran of the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.
The other winners are: Dr. Sandip Basu of the National Institute of Immunology; Dr. Manorama Bharghava and Dr. A.B. Dey of AIIMS; Dr. B.K. Sharma and Dr. Kamini Walia of ICMR; Dr. Jagjit S. Saini, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Y.Chawla, Dr. R.K. Dhiman, Dr. Nancy Malla and Dr. S. Mazumdar of PGIMER, Chandigarh; Dr. Amita Aggarwal and Dr. Rakesh Agarwal of SGPGIMS, Lucknow; Dr. V.K. Dua of the Malaria Research Centre, Dr. V.M. Katoch of the Central JALMA Institute for Leprosy, Dr. S.L. Choubisa of the SBP Government College, Dungapur, and Dr. T.C. Nag of the Darjeeling Government College.
