NEW DELHI, DEC. 7. Warning that Ayodhya would continue to foment communal tension without a solution, the Shiv Sena member, Mr. Sanjay Nirupam, today suggested setting up of a Parliamentary Committee to resolve the issue once and for all.

``A Parliamentary Committee can be set up so that the controversy is resolved,'' he told the Rajya Sabha during zero hour.

Referring to the leader of the Opposition, Dr. Manmohan Singh's remark that five Ministers of Vajpayee Government were present at a recent controversial VHP meeting, Mr. Sanjay Nirupam said he was also present at the meeting. - PTI
