Award for sitar maestro

GWALIOR, DEC. 8. Sitar maestro Shujaat Husain Khan was conferred with the Kumar Gandharva Samman during the Tansen music festival here last night. Honouring the maestro, the Madhya Pradesh Public Works Department Minister, Mr. Shravan Patel, said Husain Khan had scaled new heights in classical music. The award carries Rs. 51,000 and a citation.
