Panic in stock markets
By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI, DEC. 13. The terrorist attack on Parliament today led to panic at the stock markets across the country and the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex crashed by 132 points. Large-scale selling took place as the news of the attack spread.

But, the markets stabilised once it was known that all the Members of Parliament and the Council of Ministers were safe. Most of the bourses, however, closed the day lower than Wednesday.
