Afroz to confess

MUMBAI, DEC. 14. Mohammed Afroz Abdul Razak, suspected Al-Qaeda terrorist who had allegedly conspired to blow up targets, today informed a magistrate that he wished to confess voluntarily and denied allegations that police had tortured him or that he was mentally sick.

However, considering his father's plea to grant some time, the court directed Afroz to appear on December 18 again to make a voluntary confession.
