Travel Around claims Victory Zone Cup
MYSORE, DEC. 31. Mr. R. Tilokchand's Travel Around (S.R. Bhagwat up) won the Victory Zone Cup, the main event of the races held here today. The winner is trained by V. Chawla.
Fines:
In the Mekedaatu Plate, trainer S. Gowli was fined Rs. 500 by the Stewards for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge Sizzling Stamper.
In the Gulbarga Plate, jockey S.R. Bhagwat (Abyssinian Cat) was fined Rs. 500 for tightening Almond (A. Imran Khan).
In the Victory Zone Cup, jockey S. Ramesh (Chuck Berry) was fined Rs. 1,000 for causing interference to Pharoah (M. Suresh) and Prestigious Baby (Md. Hesnain).
In the Bird Sanctuary Plate, jockey P. Kumar (Deion) was fined Rs. 1,000 for causing interference to Motto (S. Pasha) and Boogy Man (A. Imran Khan).
