Sir, - This refers to the news item ``Give Musharraf a chance: Bush'' (Jan. 2). But the fact that so many chances have been misused should be taken into account. Further, the U.S did not give the Taliban any ``chance.'' It not only gave a specific time-frame but did not share any evidence with the rest of the world. India has only downsized its ties with Pakistan.
