Intrusion by Pak. UAV
By Shujaat Bukhari

JAMMU, JAN. 9. A Pakistani Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) today intruded into Indian territory in Arnia area of Ramgargh sub-sector but managed to fly back despite heavy gunfire from Indian troops.

Official sources told The Hindu that the Chinese-made B104 vehicle was noticed this evening. Indian troops started firing anti-aircraft guns but failed to shoot it down as it was flying very high. A MI-17 helicopter was pressed into service but it too did not succeed. The plane remained hovering in the air for more than 15 minutes. ``It must have taken pictures of massive build-up on this side and gone back'' a source said.
