Explosives recovered

JAISALMER (Rajasthan), JAN. 13. A huge quantity of high quality explosives, weighing more than 25 kg, and arms and ammunition were recovered from a farm at Biryani village in this district last night, a senior police official said here today. An alleged gunrunner, identified as Magharam Meghwal, was arrested in this connection.

The consignment packed in two sacks contained 8.66 kg RDX, 16.95 kg plastic explosives, a wireless set, one AK-47 rifle, 380 magazines, 109 live cartridges, detonators, timers, chargers, and coils of electric wire.
