Ram temple

Sir, - I, a Pakistani Muslim, would like to say that if there is any historical evidence that the Babri Masjid was built on the site of a Ram temple then the Muslims should give up their claim to the site. If such evidence is found, then there are two possibilities: one that the temple was there and demolished to make room for the mosque and the other is that the temple was not there in a functional form. In either case, the holiness of the site to the Hindus dictates that they be allowed to construct the temple.
