Zhu Rongji in Mumbai

MUMBAI, JAN. 15. The Chinese Prime Minister, Zhu Rongji, arrived here on Tuesday evening from New Delhi on a two-day trip to this commercial capital where he would have a luncheon meeting with captains of Indian industry and business organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry tomorrow.

His engagements in New Delhi has been diplomatic in nature and he is expected to focus on business and trade between the two countries before he goes to Bangalore where he would interact with the world of Information Technology.

Mr. Zhu's visit to Mumbai has no other significant public engagement.
