Bihar Minister sacked

PATNA, JAN. 20. The Bihar Governor, Vinod Chandra Pandey, today dropped the Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Aditya Singh, from the Council of Ministers on the Chief Minister, Rabri Devi's advice.

The Chief Minister recommended the Minister's dismissal last night following his alleged involvement in the killing of one Amar Paswan in Narhat of Nawada district.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and a candidate seriously injured in a clash at Sonawa village of rural Patna during the Panchayat by-elections today.
