$100 m. aid for Afghanistan

TOKYO, JAN. 21. India today pledged a $100-million assistance for the long-term reconstruction in Afghanistan. The Disinvestment Minister, Arun Shourie, who represented the country at the Afghan reconstruction conference here, said that a sum of $1 million had been pledged to meet the requirements of the interim administration.
