NEW DELHI, JAN. 23. The Centre has decided to set up a National Cyberspace Cell to be headed by the National Security Adviser and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Brajesh Mishra.

According to highly-placed sources in the Government, the need for such a cell was felt in the context of increasing cyber crimes and militants and terrorist organisations using sophisticated and innovative communication techniques for transmission of messages.
