Contrasting wins for RCSM, Sobers
THRISSUR, JAN 23. RCSM Cricket Academy (Thrissur) and Sobers CC (North Parur) posted contrasting wins on their way to the quarterfinals of the E.P.Pavoo memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the St Thomas College Ground here on Thursday. RCSM drubbed Ernakulam CC by 168 runs while Sobers defeated host Fancy Fabrics Challengers CC by 27 runs.
The scores (pre-quarterfinals): Sobers CC, North Parur 201 in 29.5 overs (Ravishanker 65, Sangeeth 54, Mahesh 49, Sajay three for 15) bt Fancy Fabrics Challengers CC, Thrissur 174 all out in 28.1 overs (Sharath 33, Viswanath 30).
RCSM Cricket Academy, Thrissur 269 for two in 30 overs (Ratan Kumar 92, Bapi Raju 66, Sijo Jose 46) bt Ernakulam CC 101 all out in 26 overs (Jino 25, Ramana three for 18).
