WASHINGTON, JAN. 25. Former Enron Corporation Vice-Chairman, Cliff Baxter, who resigned in May last year, was found dead today after shooting himself in the head, Texas police said. His corpse was discovered alone in a car this afternoon, a police spokeswoman said.

``We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our friend and colleague, Mr. Baxter,'' a statement by Enron said. Mr. Baxter was Vice-Chairman of the collapsed energy trader when he resigned in May 2001.
