JAMMU, JAN. 26. Twelve Pakistani soldiers were killed and 10 of their bunkers destroyed in retaliatory firing and shelling by the Indian troops across the Akhnoor sector in Jammu division today. However, there was no causality on the Indian side. All the injured were hospitalised, they added.

Meanwhile, two Army jawans and four civilians were injured in firing from the other side in the Noushera sector in Jammu, official sources said.

The Pakistani troops along with some infiltrators resorted to firing and shelling from across the Line of Control (LoC) on the hilly parts of the Akhnoor sector today, a defence spokesman said.
