Turns down honour

MUMBAI, JAN. 26. A day after the Padma awards were announced, the renowned danseuse, Sitara Devi, refused to accept the Padma Bhushan award.

``It is an insult and not an honour,'' the anguished Kathak exponent said here today. ``I will not accept any award less than Bharat Ratna,'' the artiste, in her late seventies, said.
