Sunderarajan Kidambi lifts title

PANJIM, JAN. 27. International Master Sunderarajan Kidambi showed his class to win his second Junior National chess championship at Clube de Gaspar Diaz, Panaji (Goa) today. Kidambi's Chennai citymate R.Preetham Sharma finished second on a better tie-break than third seeded S.Satyapragyan (Indian Airlines).
Kidambi played very well in the final round against former National sub-junior Champion Deepan Chakravarthy (Emanuel Chess Club) from the Black side of Caro Kann Defence.lImportant results (final round): D.
