QUITO (Ecuador), JAN. 28. An Ecuadorean plane with 92 people on board was declared missing today after it lost contact with air traffic control on its way to the northern city of Tulcan, aviation authorities said.

The Boeing 720-100 took off from Quito at 10:23 a.m. local time (8.53 p.m.IST) and travelled toward Tulcan, a city on Ecuador's border with Colombia. Seven crew members, a mechanic, an operations technician and 83 passengers were on board the Ecuadorean state airline Tame's flight 120.
