Ban on cricket telecast

MEERUT, JAN. 31. Telecast of cricket matches involving Pakistan has been banned in Meerut district from today. The Additional District Magistrate, J. P. Singh, said action would be taken against cable operators defying the ban imposed to maintain communal harmony in view of the coming Assembly polls.
