U.N. Biswas retires

KOLKATA, JAN. 31. The CBI Additional Director, U.N. Biswas, who retired from service today after vigorously pursuing the multi-crore fodder scam, said that investigation in part of the cases was almost over and these would be resolved shortly.

Mr. Biswas, who stole the limelight for his tireless pursing of the Rs. 950-crore scam involving the former Bihar Chief Ministers, Laloo Prasad Yadav and Jagannath Mishra, among others, said here that he was confident that all cases would be resolved under the CBI director, P.C. Sharma.
