NEW DELHI, JAN. 31. Security agencies in Patna are baffled by the sudden disappearance of a man from a hotel, who had given a false address and taken away the remote control of the television besides the timer device of the electronic gadget.

Informed sources said that a person by the name of Zia-Ud din had checked in at a hotel located near the Gandhi Maidan at Patna. However, he had been missing since yesterday. His absence was discovered during a security check of the area in view of the visit of the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, who is to attend a railways function at the Gandhi Maidan on February 3.
