NEW DELHI, FEB. 1. Yekaterina Morozova of Kazakhstan defeated top- seeded Vandana Murali 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 to move into the girls' semifinals of the ITF South and Central Asian under-14 tennis championship at the DLTA Complex here on Friday.

The results (quarterfinals):

Boys: Franklyn Emmanuel (Sri) bt Sanam Singh 7-5, 6-2; Umarov Jamol (Uzb) bt Alexander Lidzar (Kaz) 6-1, 6-1; Sumit Gupta bt Acmal Sulaimanov (Tjk) 6-0, 6-1; Jeevan Nedunchezian bt N. S. Nishendran (Sri) 7-5, 6-1.

Girls: Yekaterina Morozova (Kaz) bt Vandana Murali 4-6, 6-3, 6-1; Sandhya Nagaraj bt Vlada Ekshibarova (Uzb) 2-6, 6-4, 6-2; Maria Vasilyeva (Kaz) bt Madura Ranganathan 6-3, 6-3; Sandri Gangotri bt G. K. Shweta 6-0, 6-1.
